Affordable Car Insurance For The First Time Buyer

by Amy Nutt

You’ve just bought your first new car and now you need to get car insurance for that vehicle. You?re not sure what to do and you want to make sure you get the most affordable rate. You don?t want your lack of knowledge to cause you to have to pay more for your car insurance than what you have to; especially since you need to put very expensive fuel in that car to keep it running.

Fortunately, lack of knowledge doesn’t have to get in your way. There are some basic things you should know about buying car insurance for the first time. They are not difficult and you?ll find that the difference between knowing these things and not knowing these things means more money you can keep in your pocket or use to put fuel in your car. It doesn’t matter how you choose to use that money. What matters is that you?re not unnecessarily paying it on a car insurance premium.

How much you need

Chances are you have financed this car and the lender requires you to have full coverage insurance. This covers everything from bodily injury to collision in case you are in an auto accident with that car. Although the lender requires full coverage, you can have different degrees of coverage based on what you can afford.

For example:

- You can choose to go with a policy that has a $500 deductible. What this means is that this is the amount you have to pay to repair your car in case you are in a collision with someone or some thing. If the bill to fix the car is $3,000. The insurance will pay the remaining $2,500 after you have paid your $500 deductible.

That seems easy enough, doesn’t it? It is pretty simple. However, it is important for you to determine how much you can afford in regards to your deductible. You can actually save money on your premium each month if you can afford a higher deductible in case of an accident. The higher the deductible, the cheaper the premium, but you don?t want to go beyond what you can afford.

How to save

Once you’ve determined how much you need, this is the point in which you can work on saving money. You need to first comparison shop by checking with the different providers to see what types of premiums they have for the amount of coverage you need. You also need to ask them what is covered under the insurance, what the limitations are, when the coverage begins and ends, how much coverage you get, and how you file a claim.

Once you find good prospects, you can then ask them what types of car insurance discounts they offer. If you are a college student, they may offer a discount. They may even offer an additional discount for good grades. You can also do such things as open a life insurance policy with them to get a multi-line discount.

If you’re ever in doubt, contact your state?s department of insurance and ask them tips regarding how you can save on car insurance. They will gladly give you that information. You may even want to talk with the insurance providers regarding a discount if you allow them to automatically deduct your premium from your bank account each month. You have many different areas to compare and many discounts and policy alterations that can work to your advantage. Use them and see how much money you can save. You may actually be surprised how much money you can have in your pocket versus how much could possibly go into your insurance premium.

Best Fuel Saver Product

It is not an easy task to choose the best fuel saver product out of infinite number of fuel products available in the market. The companies that manufacture fuel saving products guarantee that their product would save you the fuel and would help in increasing the efficiency of the vehicle.

There is a solution to every problem. As the gas prices have been increasing gradually, there have been a lot of gas saving products lately which help in saving the consumption of gas. However, one needs to find out the best product that is capable of saving gas and helps increase the fuel efficiency.

The fuel saving products is responsible of producing some hydrogen which enhances the activity of the fuel combustion and the fuel consumption of the engine. There are many types of devices that could be referred to as the best fuel saving device. But one must research, analyze and work on details of the devices that are available in the market before choosing a fuel saving product to install in the engine.

A great way to save fuel is installing a Hydrogen generator in the car. It is installed in the hood of the car and is very easy to remove which takes just a few minutes. A user manual comes handy with the products that guide the user step by step about installing the device in the car. One must also have at least a little knowledge about the mechanism and the background of the working of the product.

One important thing is that the fuel saving device which the user thinks is the best should not be a clone of a well known company. During the purchase of the fuel saving product, one must be sure that he gets a full user guide manual with the product. It is normally of much help.

The combustion process that takes place in the fuel tank is normally imperfect. According to the experts, the combustion process utilizes only about 25% of the fuel which is put into the vehicle and the rest of the 75% fuel is wasted and lost in the open environment. So, it becomes very important and necessary to find some way of saving fuel that could save money and increases the performance of the engine. Keeping the rising prices of the fuel these days, the fuel saving products is a great way to save fuel to some extent.

There is a large number of fuel saving products in the market to choose from which promise to enhance the engine quality and the rate of the fuel combustion. The older engines which are treated with the fuel saver start acting new and have more power. This is what most of the companies that manufacture fuel saving devices say.

One property of a good fuel saving device is that it breaks the size of the fuel molecules so that they are able to burn more completely, fast and cooler. It results in a powerful and rather complete combustion. The best of the fuel saving products are quite easy to install and they are environment friendly. Rest, the car and the fuel saving product knows the best!!

What Exactly Is “Water Fuel Technology”?

by Paul Petersen

I don’t know whether you have heard that great news yet or maybe you’ve missed it, but some people have already begun to run their cars on the cheapest resource that is currently at our disposal and it’s water. Yes it is actually happening and what great timing when the world is be brought to it’s feet with ever increasing fuel prices.

During the second world war water fuel technology was used in both aircraft and tanks, so it has been round for a number of years. Today’s society and environment has called for it’s return and now these simple water injection systems can assist our cars to achieve increased gas mileage and also to help reduce engine temperatures.

The first time that hydrogen fuel cars appeared on the market was back in the 1960’s, but it didn’t really develop into anything until just a couple of years ago. The necessary fuel was extremely expensive and difficult to get hold of, which is was why the majority of car manufacturers just avoided it’s development. The two big German car manufacturers have though produced the BMW H7 and the Audi A2H2 which you can pick up for around $100,000, but you will still have a hard time finding your local hydrogen gas station.

Scientists from Japan have been able to develop a source of energy by transforming water into electricity and it has been proven successful as an efficient fuel supply for the bullet train. Those of us in the US and Europe might have to wait for several more years before this new technology reaches us, but maybe we have come up with something even better. Scientists have at last come up with a method that will combines water, electricity and gasoline and converts them into two parts hydrogen and one part oxygen (HHO). HHO is both a safe a clean product and the most exciting part about it is that HHO can be used in almost any vehicle on the road.

You will be amazed at how little this revolutionary system actually costs. A Professionally installed HHO system work out at nearly $2,500, although an HHO conversion kit are available for about $500. The parts needed are readily available so you could even “do it yourself” for about $150 and the installation is fairly simple. If you don’t feel confident enough, well the kits come fully explained with diagrams, a list of parts and easy to follow instructions.

An estimated 98% of all road vehicles can be adapted for HHO technology and the principle advantage is without a doubt the possible 40% savings in fuel consumption. Apart from that though you will own a car that is cleaner, more environmentally friendly and one that will improve your mileage big time. A car manufacturer’s warranty will be in no way affected by converting to HHO, so this could be the chance for you to make a difference. Aren’t you just tied of being held to ransom by the rich oil producing nations? Well, if you are you now have the chance to run your vehicle on cheap fuel and not have to worry about the mileage anymore.

I Improve My Gas Mileage by 40% - Here’s How You Can Too!

by Mark Alison

I was able to improve my gas mileage over 40% - and I did it without spending a dime. In other words come spending a little over half of what I used to spend on gas.

In order to prove my gas mileage, I have to know what my car in gas mileage is. By using a very simple gas mileage calculator, I can figure out exactly what my current miles per gallon are. This is done by writing down how much I’d fill up, and how far I drive, then dividing the miles I went by the gallons I used.

Now I can improve my gas mileage. The first step is basic core maintenance. By simply checking might air filter and wail, I can boost my gas mileage by as much as 10%. Dirty oil makes the engine run hotter and harder, using more gas.

I get another 5% boost with a clean air filter. Dirty work clogged air filters allow less oxygen into your engine, making for less efficient combustion. This uses more gas.

A big boost to improve my gas mileage is by insuring my tires are properly inflated. Tires with low air pressure are harder to roll, again making the engine work harder to move the car. I make it a point to check my tire pressure every time I get a fill up.

I can also improve my gas mileage by reducing the weight in my car. My mileage goes up by 1% for every 50 pounds I take out of the car. This makes for a good excuse to clean the trunk and backseat.

One of the biggest gas mileage improvements comes from, how and when I drive. By doing my errands during off-peak hours, I avoid stop-and-go traffic, congestion, and idling, using up gas without even going anywhere.

I improve my gas mileage up to 40% simply by combining good car maintenance, common sense driving and a little bit of planning. Adding all of these together, means I am effectively paying 40% less for gas. That comes out to a big savings because I have to fill up my tank, much less frequently.

Automobile Fuel Savers

The Automobile Fuel Savers are generally available to suit all types of vehicles with every type of engines. These are suitable for all vehicles with internal combustion engines which use any type of fuel such as petroleum, gasoline, diesel, LPG and CNG. These devices can be easily fitted in the vehicle and are maintenance free.

Many companies that manufacture the fuel savers claim that these devices increase the mileage by up to 25%, are easy to install and come with a well guided user manual, works for both diesel and petrol engine and increase the performance of the engine to a great extent.

These devices have a quick start and there is no cutting on the fuel line. They are biodegradable, environment and user friendly and reduce the gaseous and harmful emissions by up to 9%. The LPG and CNG gas savers are very much suitable and compatible for the LPG and CNG type vehicles and save the gas fuel to a large extent.

The gas saving devices help to break the hydrocarbon chains in the gas tank, into smaller molecules which allow the gas to burn mo0re efficiently and completely. This is widely used in the automobiles running on LPG and CNG gases. The companies that manufacture these devices guarantee to the customers that their devices reduce vehicle pollution and saves gases. They are maintenance free and easy in their installation.

The fuel savers are generally composed of a container, a magnetic block, infrared pellets and a cover. The container is configured with a small opening that enables a magnetic piece of block and the infrared pellets to be disposed into the container, and the cover present on the fuel saver device is used to cover, seal, and protect the opening.

The fuel saver with this type of configuration enables the user to use connecting rods which screw into the screw holes that are defined in the cover and assemble a plurality of the fuel savers. This composite assembled structure of the fuel saving device is disposed into the fuel tank to effectively improve the fuel efficiency, improved vehicle and engine performance, and reduction in exhaust discharge while simultaneously increasing the torque and the horsepower of the vehicle.

The concept of the fuel saving devices is not new and has been there for quite some years. It is a great possibility that there may been improvements in these devices over the years and there could be newer ideas. Keeping in mind, the rapid rise in fuel prices, necessity is the mother of all inventions. The higher the oil and fuel price, greater is the need to conserve and protect energy.

While choosing and using an Automobile Fuel Saver, the customer has to be cautious as the experts suggest that these devices does not work for a long time and thus are not beneficial in the long run. Some of these devices may even damage the car’s engine and increase the exhaust gaseous emissions. It is always better if the device that the customer plans to purchase is registered with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as it gives the device a certain authenticity.

Power Your Car with Hydrogen - Scam Or “Big-Oil Secret?

by Matthew Loop, DC

The high gas prices we have been experiencing this year have been almost impressively high. Shockingly so, actually. While analysts keep trying to find out when this storm of high gas prices is going to pass, you are left trying to figure out exactly what you can do to try to provide some relief to your budget. It appears the government is not going to provide any relief, and the oil companies clearly do not care about how much they are squeezing the every last cent from the middle class.

The government, on the other hand, tries their best not to get involved, though arguably their interference would be welcome here. While some people in Washington try to justify not providing any gas relief by claiming the market will write itself, the only way for that to be true is if the high gas prices are due to the market alone, and not due to price gauging by oil companies. As we all know, the oil industry is not exactly a respectable bunch.

If you stop and logically think about it, the only way gas prices are going to dip is if global demand for oil drops somehow. I mean world-wide demand would have to drop in a major way! Anything else will just make the situation worsen. But, what can we do to cut global demand? Obviously, it has to take a massive and immediate effort by all consumers to save gas. Three simple things you can do are changing the way you drive, purchase a hybrid car, or lastly… run your car on hydrogen technology. Hybrids are a bit lofty in price so I wouldn’t advise this option.

This method of harnessing hydrogen gas is known as HHO gas. HHO gas is essentially a particle of hydrogen that has been separated from water using a process known as electrolysis. The particle is then transferred into your car’s combustion, essentially doubling or tripling your car’s gas mileage. And rather than buy a new car or perform some serious engine changes, all you need to do is turn your old car into a hydrogen based hybrid car.

Since this is not pure hydrogen - rather it is a hydrogen particle taken from water - there is no danger to adding this to your engine. You are improving your gas mileage, but you are doing so without risking the safety of you or your car. All you have is a makeshift hybrid car that gets significantly better gas mileage.

What it comes down to is that this involves harnessing one of the most plentiful resources on the planet. I’m speaking of water, of course! Water has two molecules of hydrogen and one of oxygen. When a small electrical current is fused into this molecule, it becomes broken down into its separate parts. This simple conversion apparatus takes the hydrogen and oxygen molecules and converts them both to HHO gas, or Brown’s gas.

And the best part is that for all of you environmentally friendly people, HHO gas converts right back into water when you are done with it, so you will not be leaving a carbon footprint with your new HHO hybrid. Instead, you will actually reduce emissions, because you will be burning far less gas overall.

By using this state-of-the-art conversion technology, you should notice at minimum a 40% gain in gas mileage, which can result in over a thousand dollars banked per year for any consumer. Combining this with the gas savings techniques listed in the conversion manual, you will up your fuel economy by 75% or more, easily giving you thousands of dollars more per year to work with. This is good considering it’s your money and you should spend it on things you want, not outrageous gas prices!

Air Intake Charge as an Art and a Science

by Ricardo d Argence

Are you looking to buy an air intake? Well, there are various kinds or styles to choose from but if you are not very much aware how each of these types work, you might get confused and hesitate on which one is the best choice. Among the most popular styles of air intake charge kits are the Short Ram, Long Ram Cold, and the Ram. If you want to know more about how these systems work, then read on.

With much shorter tubing than cold air intake systems, Short Ram Systems are similar to the long ram counterparts. Efficiency wise they are not the same especially when compared to a cold air intake system since the air that’s closer to the engine is heavier and hotter. Though intake systems of air still significantly out perform most types they stock.

Long Ram Cold Systems create greater horsepower and gas mileage by rising up the volumetric efficiency within the vehicle’s cylinders. The removing of restrictive stock air boxes and their replacement with smooth flowing mandrel bent tubing increases its efficiency. The velocity of air that is flowing to the engine and the amount of air is also increase.

The engine air that goes into the air becomes cooler and denser with this kind of intake. The factor causing it is the air which is far from the engine and is not over heated but still is pulled into the intake. Intake is also increased by the efficiency to the filters of allowing more air.

Ram Systems utilizes outdoor air to force induction inside automobile engines. The ram air kit has the ability to be viewed on any vehicle which has a scoop design in it’s hood. The intake receives its necessary airflow from tubing that is connected to the hood scoop. As the car’s speed increases, the intake air velocity increases.

Horsepower is created when this system boosts during high speed and creats good, dense, cold and high velocity air for your engine. By forcing the induction, the long ram systems are able to capitalize the market. In order to reach the high speed air that comes through the car’s front bumper, you will need to put the air filter low.

If you are wondering, here are a couple of tips on how you could get the best air intake system and the differences between the brands and designs:

1. You buy, considering the dyno results of the particular look for air intake system are proven. Accurate and/or correct representation will be provided to you.

2. Many believe the common misconception that bigger is always better when dealing with air intake systems, but do not play the fool and fall for this. Circumstances determine the truth of this.

How to Ride A Vespa Scooter Safely!

by Laura Talbert

The idea of riding a scooter is to allow you the freedom of the open air while traveling. It can also be a very inexpensive way to travel or to commute. Before you start riding your scooter, it is very important that you become fully familiar with the way it functions.

It is utterly foolish to take it on the road without this knowledge. The learning process could be strenuous for some people who grapple hard to get it right while some people have to spend minimum time to learn it. It is simply a matter concerning catching up with the skills and your ambition to make things happen fast.

The vehicle which helps you to learn the operating skills is important in the sense that it would decide how well you could make it perform, so just make sure that you get a scooter which fits you well. This can be some what tricky because many people learn how to ride a scooter that belongs to someone else.

The Last Word On SUV Covers

by F. Jane Green

Whether you vacation, take extended trips away from home, or plan to use a smaller vehicle instead of a gas guzzling SUV because of high gas prices right now, one of your immediate considerations should be for the care and protection of your vehicles whether you are away or not using them.

Not all car covers are the same quality wise. And remember, where you live will determine what kind of cover will protect your car the best.

Let’s look at your SUV for example. Unless you have it parked under a roof for protection, all kinds of nasty things can happen to it in the course of time. UV rays from the sun can damage the finish and interior, bird droppings and bug splats can play havoc with the paint, wind storms can cause nicks and dents on the top and sides of your vehicle causing an unsightly look. Whew!

Car cover companies are starting to see better than average car cover sales for SUVs despite gasoline price increases. People are storing and protecting their SUVs with SUV covers in hopes that when gasoline prices start to decline they can start to drive them again undamaged.

As more and more SUVs sit parked in people’s yard, car cover companies have seen an increase in sales for truck covers, car covers, and SUV covers as the price of fuel increases. The SUV covers help to keep their vehicle’s value and at the same time provide the needed exterior finish protection.

First of all determine what are your needs. SUV covers do more than just cover your vehicle. Also ask where do I live and what kind of climate will I be dealing with?

*Will I need protection from the sun’s UV light and intense heat? If you live down south you know what I mean and a SUV cover can provide that kind of protection.

*Do I live in an area where dampness and rain are a issue? Then a good 100% waterproof car cover would do the trick in keeping your vehicle dry.

*Do I need protection from intense cold and snow like the Northeast? An all weather durable SUV cover is what you want.

The right SUV cover can provide extra layers of protection against things that bump against a parked vehicle or fall from a tree like a limb or branch.

So buy the best car cover you can afford for your vehicles, whether it be a truck cover, car cover, or a SUV cover. It will provide the care and protection plus the peace of mind you need while you are away enjoying your vacation or storing your SUV until the price of gas goes down.

Classic Car Parts Can Be Limited

by Rex Simpleton

So, what exactly is the definition of a classic car? This almost depends on who you ask. The answer seems to vary between different people, but let’s see if we can clear it up. A classic car is anything that was manufactured between 1925 and 1948. But, the term classic really means different things to different people, but they all agree it is something that will increase in value over time.

If the car was manufactured at least 25 years ago, then it is considered a classic car. Some even believe that the classic cars then were sold at a higher price than just a standard car. They were believed to be manufactured at a lower quantity, or a limited quantity. Whatever the case, a classic car is an awesome car.

Just like any antique, the appreciation and value of a classic car increases with time and they are expensive since they are very limited and rare. But the maintenance of classic cars is quite difficult. It is also difficult to find older car parts for classic cars. But the pleasure of owning a classic car outweighs the disadvantages.

As we just discussed, class parts can be hard to find. You might have better luck finding a community of car enthusiasts. If you are online looking for parts, then try to find a forum. These are online communities that can help you find good places to get exactly what you are looking for.

Keep in mind when making your purchase the condition and the working age of your car part. If you are going to be using an online auction, or a website, then get a picture. This can help to determine the condition. But, more importantly, get a warranty or guarantee if possible.

Just remember, that the term classic cars can vary amongst people. But, to the casual observer, they do not really care. They just know the beauty an old car, refurbished, with a fresh paint job, has.

Usually the classic car parts do not remain as fresh as the car, because they have been used more than the car. The engine would have worked well when the classic car would have been new, the paint may be chipped and the interior may be deteriorated. Most of the classic cars have been used and so one cannot expect the used car parts to be in very good condition.

So, while these parts are difficult to find, they do exist. Many of them will be refurbished, so definitely understand the difference between refurbished and new. But in the end, you still have a classic car that people will stop, stare, and admire.
