FUEL SAVING TIPS

Hydrogen Fuel Saver

The Hydrogen Fuel Savers have been quire around in the market for many years and are quite popular. They are a mean of achieving better fuel economy and are often termed by the experts as “Fuel of the future”. These devices produce diatomic Hydrogen and diatomic Oxygen molecules in the fuel present inside the fuel tank.

These fuel savers are designed to increase mileage and performance of the vehicle. They create a combination of hydrogen and air molecules and put oxygen back into the air which results in a complete combustion of the fuel, thus increasing the fuel efficiency and enhancing the power and the life of engine.

There is something that the customer must ensure before having a hydrogen fuel injection system installed in his car. The seals of the engine must always be verified. If some oil from the lubrication system of the engine is leaking into the cylinders, there is a great probability that the oil will mix with the water which is created as the byproduct during the combustion of hydrogen.

Hydrogen when burnt and on reacting produces adequate amount of water inside the fuel tank which is not good for the oil as it may lead to many problems regarding improper fuel combustion and reduced power of the vehicle. If this happens, a sticky whitish oil/water mixture is created that can clog, and well corrode various components of the engine that are prone to air and moisture.

If the vehicle is new in this case, then the engine seals are likely in good condition and this type of situation will most likely occur in vehicles with substantial mileage. The addition of Hydrogen gas increases the flame velocity and allows more pressure to build in the cylinder before the critical crank angle. This critical crank angle is that degree after which pressure is not converted to work energy. Thus, any pressure created after the critical crank angle is a waste.

If the flame velocity is increased, the combustion process is forced to complete faster. This allows the burning of more fuel prior to the critical crank angle. In this way, only the addition of hydrogen in the fuel tank could increase the fuel efficiency. Increasing the flame velocity also changes the composition of the exhaust gas so it gets very important to consider the right design of the catalytic convertor and the oxygen sensors that are to be used in the combustion process.

Before using the Hydrogen Fuel Saver, one must ensure about the built and design of his vehicle. If the temperature of the combustion is increased, then it may result in formation of more Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) which may increasingly harm the environment and the atmosphere.

The Hydrogen Fuel Savers represent a gaseous mixture of Hydrogen and Oxygen. The effectiveness of the Hydrogen devices is very much dependent on the efficiency of the design of electrolyzer, which determines the quantity of the Hydrogen produced in the process. On the last note, one must not let himself off from looking into the ways to save fuel and improve mileage. Some of them could be deceiving and a mere eye wash. One must research before purchasing the Hydrogen Fuel Saver device.
