Having A Happy Youth By Getting Older
Youth is always desirable. Everyone wants to go back to those good old days as they did not need to bear any worry and responsibility at that time. Those were the days our lives were not taken by work and our own children who need care. Those were the days we experienced freedom and fun for the first time. It seems that youth is the perfect time of life.
You don’t necessarily remember the hurt and pain being a teenager, how you were once unsure about who you were. The smallest thing will put a frown on your face, be it an acne, or a friend of the opposite sex. There was so much stress trying to get accepted by peers at school. Now if I may, let me take you down the lane to re-explore how unworthy those times were.
1) Zits. They can ruin your planned Saturday night easily by appearing in the center of your face. They are so tough and it is not easy to get rid of them. With a big zit right in the middle of your face, it is impossible for you to leave a great impression on the one you adore.
2) Growth Spurts. Some teens have to undergo serious growing pains while some do not grow at all. You might think that the ones who grow rapidly at an early age are so lucky. However, they need to bear the badness that arose from stretch marks later in life. So no one is better off or worse off here.
3) Parents. They can be controlling, awkward and tiresome. Being a parent now, we may think that we are not like them. But as a matter of fact, we are becoming uncool just like our parents were.
4) Cars. Never can you pick up your dream girls with a Lamborghini even if you have one such powerful car in your family, because you are not old enough! You remember how embarrassing is that when you saw the hot girls holding hands with their elder and rich boyfriends. Well, you could just rush for a bus!
5) Sex. That’s what fills your mind and you go on and go about that with your friends. Though unfortunately, thinking and talking about it don’t get you what you want. Isn’t that always the case, no matter how old you are?
From now on, whenever you get indulged into thinking about how sweet the teenage time was, please think about the embarrassment that you experienced at that time, it’s only after you have got older and become an adult that you have experienced a lot.
